Glen Manders

Birthday: October 18

He may have initially gained his nickname through good deeds and clean living, but Glen has retained his handle through his deep belief in rhythm and his fervent playing. He brought his superhuman strength and rugged good looks to the Bills in the Fall of 1998.

Born in Prince George, B.C. and raised in well-aged Oak Bay, Glen is no stranger to timeless music that recalls days gone by. He started on the bass at age 13 and went on to immerse himself in as many musical contexts as he could sink his chops into, such as appearing with the Greater Victoria Youth Orchestra. Glen was a member of the Grad class of '98 (that's high school Ladies and Gentlemen), after which he spent three years at the University of Victoria, including a year roaming the subterranean halls of the music department. In 2001, Bill Bass finally realized his destiny and became a full-time professional musician.

Glen lives in Victoria where he can be spotted gigging with his bass, or roaming the UVic campus where he is currently completing his science degree.
