The Bill Hilly Band

The year 2000 brought about the first album release of the Bill Hilly Band. Recorded at Marc Atkinson's (Bill Mando's) home studio, this disc is the product of the band's dedication to finding planet earth's best acoustic music and creating original arrangements to suit their unique talents. The variety of musical flavours here should be enough to satisfy all of your palates.

The recording process was pure and organic. It started almost two years prior to the release, and continued in bursts as inspiration struck. The tunes were chosen for the magic of their melodies, rhythms, lyrics, and the arrangement concepts that the band arrived at. Marc produced the sessions, and mixed and mastered the album with the help of Joby Baker and Russell Dawkins. Paul (Bill Banjo) is responsible for the superb cover art.

The Bills are very proud of this CD, and they feel quite certain that you'll all enjoy listening and dancing to it, wherever you may be!
